So as I mentioned around here before, I have begun recording the pre-show of the movies I go to at the theater. That half an hour of ads that drop in before the trailers. When I started doing this, I was viewing it as something that I could do to add stuff to my YouTube channel, seeing how it might be a tad cumbersome to do this with my digital camera. But I could do this with my phone and upload straight from my phone to YouTube. Just because. And for some reason, I have gotten subscribers for this. People leave comments. Not many people, not many comments, but hey somebody somewhere like something that I’m doing. I am bringing this up because today, I had a technical goof that necessitated splicing two videos together before uploading. I have never done this before, let alone straight on a smartphone. I know this is nothing complicated and nothing special. I knew it was possible, so I picked it up and gave it a go. And it worked. This is a very small win, and it’s still counts. I have to learn new things, even if it’s learning how to do the same thing in New or different ways. There is a bigger learning curve project that I need to crash course on, and I’m not looking forward to it. But I have to do it. I’ve been putting it off for way too long. I’ll try facing that Cliff tomorrow.
