The Film “Mortal Kombat II” was a decent background movie. it clocks in at just under 2 hours, and it takes about half that time to throw you a few cords of the theme music commonly associated with this franchise.
The moral of the story, should you choose to accept that there is one, is that of inner strength.
Built on nostalgia, and current year special effects, I found myself yearning a little bit for Jean-Claude Van Damme. Karl Urban plays Johnny Cage well, don’t get me wrong.
The credits are credits once you get past the theme song.
There is no post credit scene, and you don’t need one.
