F1 The Movie was a long movie, clocking in at roughly two and a half hours. It felt like that the audience needed to have some endurance, just like these race car drivers need to have.
The introduction to the film brought you loud race car track sound, accentuated with the visual of our main character walking in to the job with his ear protection on.
The music included with this film was not overbearing, and seemed normalized with the sound effects of the racetrack and corresponding audio feeds from the talking Head narrators.
Because I was looking for it, the running joke of Brad Pitt always eating something was not present during this film. This was counterbalanced with Brad Pitt drinking something.
Decent performances all around.
I doubt I would see this movie again, either in theaters or at home.
What I did find interesting was the variety of English accents. I was left wondering if one person was from South Africa versus another person being from Australia versus a third person being from Wales or similar UK centric region. If you’re Welsh, don’t hunt me down for calling your country “UK centric”.
