The Film “The Drama” was more interesting than I thought it would be. I went in mostly blind. It’s not a comedy, it’s not a tragedy, it’s not quite a slice of life, but you could say that it is… a drama.
Robert Pattinson does a good job, as does Zendaya.
Fair warning: if vomit on screen does something to you, you might need a timeout in several places in this film.
The only question I had during this film was what the fuck this fancy pantsy wedding venue was doing with this terrible ass hard liquor in the cabinet. You can’t see any labels, of course, but the shape of the bottle is unique and distinctive to this particular deal. If you have seen “Band of Brothers” you might know what I’m talking about.
There is one instance of “empty cup syndrome” so bad, they don’t even try to hide it. The sound effect of putting the paper cup down made for damn sure that there was no fucking coffee in that thing.
The ending is probably appreciated more to those with more life experience.
I enjoyed this film.
